Faking it + Recent Logo Designs

Well hey there Monday. You sure did sneak up on a sista!

This weekend went by lightening fast with a quick trip to College Station to see my sister-in-law and go to the A&M vs. South Carolina State game. Let me just say- I am the best fake Aggie out there. I was whooping, chanting and singing like a pro even though 90% of the time..I had no idea what was going on. This proves my point that "faking it till you make it" is real. One thing I did have a hard time faking was the whole "stand the entire game" thing. Lord have mercy people- Who thought of that idea?! I am proud to say that I indeed DID stand the entire game and the people behind me caved in and sat down around the 3rd quarter. (silly 2%ers...whatever that means.)

Like I said, best fake Aggie award goes to me.

---------------------------------------------------------

Besides bragging on my faking it abilities- I wanted to show you guys two logos that I worked on recently for some friends of mine!

My friend Brooke Church lives in the good ol' town of Arkadelphia, AR where the nearest decent mall and movie theater is an hour away. Arkadelphia is also home to two colleges: Ouachita Baptist University and Henderson State University. For girls- the shopping choices aren't the best in town (unless Wal-Mart is where you find all your fashion needs) so she had the genius idea of selling boutique style clothing out of her house and online and marketing them towards college students and the women in the town! Check out her facebook page here! Love her stuff but don't live close?? No worries- she can ship it to you for a low price!

Many of you guys might know...but I have a special place in my heart for pageants. I competed for 3 years while in college and I believe in the entire system 100%. So when I was asked to create the Miss ASU logo- I was thrilled. :) Love me a good crown logo!

It's Ok Thursday.

- That I have gotten a Pumpkin Spice Latte every day this week. I have an addiction, but at least I admit it.

- That my house looks like an episode of hoarders since my dog came home from training camp.

- To not understand the whole "mustache" obsession. Oh you "mustache" me a question? Well speak correctly and then you may.

- To stay up till the wee hours of the morning watching Revenge on my Kindle Fire. It's just so dang good!

- That I cried like a little girl when I accidently watched the last episode of Boy Meets World before work and had to re-due my makeup.

- To stick headphones in your ears even though you don't have music playing just so people don’t talk to you from 2- 3:30.

- That I shop online because I enjoy the feeling of having packages at my front door step- It's like Christmas to me!

- To be wearing pants that you dug out of the bottom of your dirty clothes hamper. OOOHH like you’ve never done it before. PA-LEASE.

Hope you join the link up over at A Complete Waste of Makeup :)

Burlap Rehearsal Dinner Invites

My brother is dating a lovely girl who has a brother that got married at the beginning of this month! The rehearsal dinner was a shrimp broil so they wanted the invitation to somewhat reflect the laid back environment they wanted to have at the dinner! Nothing says laid back yet classy like some burlap and pastel colors!
